The site is within 800m walking distance of the State-identified Forestville town centre under the Low to Mid Rise Housing Policy.

While the site is zoned R2 Low Density, allowing for a maximum building height of 9.5m, with the inclusion of affordable housing within the development, an additional 30 per cent height is allowed, taking the maximum to 12.35m. The development falls within this at 11.8m.

There will be six affordable housing apartments which will be managed for 15 years by Bridge Housing.
