Stamp Fair

It’s a big day for stamp collectors tomorrow when the popular North-Side Stamp Fair emerges from hibernation after being put on hold during COVID.

Run successfully for more than 40 years, the popular monthly event held on the first Saturday of every month, features Australian, Foreign, Thematic, used and Mint stamps, dealers tables and Phonecards. It’s presented by volunteers from the Manly-Warringah Stamp Club which boasts up to six dealers. The club meets every second Tuesday of the month at the Manly-Warringah Leagues Club at 8 pm.

The fair will be held from 10 am to 3.30 pm in the Car Park Building opposite the Leagues club. An auction of stamps submitted by club members or the public starts at 2pm with lots for inclusion clearly marked by code and a minimum reserve of $1.00, presented by noon. Admission is free.

Manly Observer is an experiment in providing non-sensationalist hyperlocal news on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We cover the big news across the LGA, but with a hyper focus on the Manly electorate encompassing Balgowlah, Seaforth, Freshwater, Brookvale and Curl Curl up to Dee Why. It is run by those living in the community for the benefit of an informed community. We care about an informed and connected community. That’s it. Simple.
