A man in his 50s has been rescued from the water at North Curl Curl this afternoon.
The man, understood to have been fishing near the rocks, was rescued by North Curl Curl Life Saving club member Saul Brown, followed by life guards via jet ski with multiple other emergency teams responding to assist after he was swept off into dangerous swell.
Paramedics say they treated the man for multiple injuries and he was transferred via road to Northern Beaches Hospital.
Authorities confirm he was kept alive by his life jacket.
