We speak with Seaforth’s Dr Patrick Mehr, senior radiologist at I-MED Radiology Brookvale, to learn what the new facility means for Northern Beaches residents.

“The new clinic is much more accessible for our patients, with underground parking and lifts providing easy access, and it’s closer to hospital and medical centres,” Dr Mehr says.

“In recent years imaging technology has improved significantly. New modern scanners have higher resolution, resulting in better quality images which ultimately improves our ability to detect serious health issues,” Dr Mehr says.
“It is very satisfying to be able to work with patients, their referring GPs and specialists to get better outcomes sooner by using the latest technology.”

Booking an appointment is a breeze, via I-MED’s on-line booking platform, which means you can avoid waiting on the phone and choose a time that is convenient to you.
Walk-ins and same day appointments are available for GP-referred x-rays and CT scans which don’t require any pre-procedure preparation.
Patients at I-MED Brookvale can park under cover at the rear of the building. Entry to patient parking is from the laneway on the left on Sydenham Rd, opposite Charlton Lane.
