Fire at Brookvale overnight

A fire at 123 Old Pittwater Road Brookvale, understood to be at or near Littles Dry Cleaners, has been extinguished but witnesses say the building appears completely destroyed.

Police confirm the fire was observed at about 9.20pm (Wednesday 8 May 2024) prompting a large emergency response.

No injuries have been reported.

Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the blaze.

Localised traffic diversions are in place and motorists are urged to avoid the area as work on the scene carries on overnight.

Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage in relation to this incident are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
