Manly-ward Councillor Candy Bingham was tonight elected Deputy Mayor of Northern Beaches Council.
It is a position she has previously held.
Incumbent Deputy Mayor Ruth Robins did not stand for re-election.
Cr Bingham, an Eastern Hill local who stands under her own party Good for Manly, has previously served on Manly Council from 2012 until 2016.
Cr Kristyn Glanville unsuccessfully stood for the role.
Deputy Mayor Bingham will serve for a term of 12 months.
