COVID cancels Bluey (for now)

A planned Picnic in the Park with Bluey as a headline act has been cancelled due to the current Sydney-wide lockdown.

At nearly 40, I’m not afraid to admit I have a full set of Bluey PJs, and I was looking forward to the fray alongside scores of four year olds. Thankfully, a new date should be set for later in the year and Council reports those who cannot make the new date will be offered a refund.

Lah Lah’s Big Live Band and others are still currently scheduled to go ahead at the Picnic in the Park in Allambie (which we also have tickets to because I have four year old) on 28 August.

Events are at the following locations:

Picnic in the Park Allambie

Allambie Heights Oval

Saturday 28 August, 2021

Time: 9.30am – 12.00pm

Cost: $5.00

Book online: https://events.humanitix.com/picnic-in-the-park-allambie-heights

And a little further north at:

Picnic in the Park Avalon — CANCELLED DUE TO COVID LOCKDOWN , NEW TIMING TBC

Dunbar Park Avalon

NEW DATE TBC

Cost: $15

Manly Observer is an experiment in providing non-sensationalist hyperlocal news on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We cover the big news across the LGA, but with a hyper focus on the Manly electorate encompassing Balgowlah, Seaforth, Freshwater, Brookvale and Curl Curl up to Dee Why. It is run by those living in the community for the benefit of an informed community. We care about an informed and connected community. That’s it. Simple.
