Woman dies in Narrabeen crash

A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash on the Northern Beaches yesterday.

Just before 2.30pm (Tuesday 6 December 2022), emergency services were called to Pittwater Road, Narrabeen, following reports  a car had crashed into a telegraph pole.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 68-year-old woman, was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition; however, she died a short time later.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
