Teen in serious condition after e-bike accident North Curl Curl

A teen girl has been seriously injured after coming off her e-bike down Griffin Road at North Curl Curl towards Dee Why this afternoon.

Early reports before 5pm are that she fell off her bike while riding down the hill and has serious facial and limb injuries. One woman described seeing her horror at watching the girl “thrown up high in the air”.

We understand she is 15 and was wearing a helmet, which may have saved her life.

However, her condition was considered serious enough to bring in an ambulance helicopter which landed at the nearby fields at Curl Curl.

NSW Ambulance confirmed she had been taken to Sydney Chidren’s Hospital. It is understood she may have been placed in an induced coma.

We have requested information over her current condition, however the family have declined. As such, we will not be reporting on this further.
