Shake off the winter blues at Q!

You may have visited Manly’s unique Q Station precinct at North Head for a picnic and sun-downer, a weekend of relaxation or even an historic ghost tour, but we bet you’ve never experienced it like this before…

Every Sunday during August, Q is turning its gorgeous sanctuary into a wellness retreat, of sorts, inviting locals to dedicate the day to all things mind, body and soul.

You can work up a sweat and get fit by joining an invigorating early morning outdoor exercise session (starting at 7.30am), which includes an OzSquad signature bootcamp session, followed by either a run technique, yoga, Pilates or breathwork session.

Round off the morning with a complimentary coffee and croissant from the Wharf Café, and an informal but facilitated ‘core value and goal setting’ chat to help you connect with others and start the next season with strength and spirit.

An ocean dip after your session is optional, but well worth the plunge.

Places are limited, so bookings are essential to ensure your place at these Q Station sessions; why not bring a friend?

Take your pick of a session that suits you best – or better still, commit to all four sessions:

Sunday 4th August – Bootcamp & Run Technique
Sunday 11th August – Bootcamp & Yoga
Sunday 18th August – Bootcamp & Pilates
Sunday 25th August – Bootcamp & Breathwork

Q Station offers a wide variety of experiences for day trips or overnight guests.

It’s a special place which played a unique role in Australia’s history, as it once served as the Quarantine Station for migrants arriving in Australia. Buildings have been carefully preserved and this rich heritage can now be experienced 365 days a year.

Q Station has various snack and dining options

As well as accommodation, there are restaurants and bars offering a wide range of dining options – including a special deal available now at the Boilerhouse Kitchen & Bar – a 5-course degustation menu for $99.

Q Station also features unique venues and outdoor sites for events, conferences and weddings, tours and educational programs including the well-known “after dark tours”, with direct access to Sydney Harbour and the Australian bush.

Whether planning to join a bootcamp session or just take time out, you can always escape to Q Station with accommodation packages that include a delectable complimentary buffet breakfast at the Views Restaurant with energizing active foods, then step back in time with a daily Quarantine Wander History Tour, which takes you on a journey through the property’s rich history.

You can get fit and energized at your own pace with kayaking, SUP or snorkelling hire at Quarantine beach, or take a walk to discover the natural beauty of the surrounding Sydney Harbour National Park, where you can spot native animals and the new award-winning lookouts and trails.
