Bec Lynch, aged 35, passed away peacefully in Manly at 2:30am on Saturday, 10 October 2026, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Bec was a much-loved daughter, sister, aunty and friend whose infectious smile and beautiful nature touched the hearts of so many. A brilliant and passionate PDHPE teacher at Narrabeen Sports High School, she inspired her students and made a lasting impression on the young people and colleagues she worked with.
Manly held a special place in Bec’s heart. She was a familiar face along the beachfront, getting up at 5am every day to run by the ocean, rain, hail or shine. Whether running along the beach, walking by the water or spending time at the gym, Bec embraced life with incredible energy and determination.
Beautiful inside and out, Bec had a warm and welcoming nature and a kind, generous heart. Her beaming smile could light up a room, and she had a special way of bringing sunshine into the lives of those around her. She was an inspiration to many, not only through the way she lived her life but through the genuine care and compassion she showed to others.

Throughout her illness, Bec faced unimaginable challenges with determination and grace. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved her, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace and free from pain.
Bec will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, former students and the wider Northern Beaches community. Although her time with us was far too short, the lives she touched and the love she gave will never be forgotten.
Forever loved, forever missed and always in our hearts.
