Missing man’s body found at Palm Beach

The body of missing Northern Beaches man Craig Fundak, 55, has been found at Barrenjoey Headland at Palm Beach.

Manly Observer confirmed with Police that the next of kin had been notified before publishing. It is not known whether or not his death was caused by a fall or other misadventure; a report will be prepared for the coroner, Police said.

A full-scale search continued, and we understand his body found yesterday, and identified last night.

Mr Fundak, who enjoyed hikes,  was last seen 6.30pm on Wednesday, March 16 at Bilgola Plateau.

When family were unable to get in contact with Craig, a report was made to police at 7.15pm on Saturday.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation into his whereabouts. Craig’s car was subsequently found parked near Palm Beach Headland on the Saturday.

Our condolences to his loved ones.
