Shifted crossing Manly West Public School

Northern Beaches Council has worked to improve pedestrian safety near Manly West Public School on Griffiths Street, Balgowlah.

The crossing has been shifted to the east away from Waratah Street and raised, in order to slow traffic and increase pedestrian safety.

New pram ramps have been constructed with connecting footpaths on Waratah Street .

This project was delivered as part of the Federal Stimulus – School Infrastructure Program, with funding secured to support pedestrian improvements in local schools.
