Corey Clark, the man identified as the driver during a pursuit with police through the Northern Beaches has been charged with multiple offences, including claiming to be John Wick.
Court documents reveal the 32-year-old is alleged to have begun his crime spree at 9.30am on Sunday, 30 November, with an aggravated break and enter of a home in Girraween on Magowar Road. Here he stole the FOB keys of a 2001 white Toyota Corolla hatchback.
At around 10.50am officers on patrol on the North Shore spotted the vehicle – reported stolen – cruising along Brook Street Naremburn where they indicated for Clark to pull over. On failing to do so a pursuit was initiated towards the Roseville Bridge where it was then terminated due to safety concerns. The vehicle was reported driving on the wrong side of the road multiple times during the pursuit.

However, he was spotted shortly after around Mona Vale and the pursuit was re-initiated where the driver soon headed back south towards Narrabeen.
The man, who had his address listed as Junee Correctional Centre, was arrested on the same day after the pursuit, ending with him abandoning the vehicle on Pittwater Road near Garden Street before dashing into Narrabeen Lake in an attempt to escape. He was apprehended shortly after at the cost of a riot squad officer suffering a dislocated shoulder.

Clark appeared in Manly Local Court on Monday, 1 December, where he was charged with aggravated break and enter, assaulting a police officer, entering a police pursuit and driving recklessly non-stop, driving recklessly/ furiously or speeding in a dangerous manner, refusing or failing to submit to a breath test and take and drive conveyance without consent of the owner.
He also received a charge of giving a false name, telling a police officer he was “John Wick” in response to the request.
Clark was refused bail and the case was adjourned until 15 December, 2025, where he will reappear in Manly Local Court.
