Ingleside fire destroys car collection

A huge blaze at storage sheds on Mona Vale Road in Ingleside this morning, 24 February, has been extinguished with significant damage to several vehicles, many about fifty years old.

The incident was managed by Rural Fire Service with five NSW Fire and Rescue trucks from Mona Vale, Narrabeen, Avalon, a hazmat from Forestville, and Dee Why also attending.

A fire incinerated two large sheds at Ingleside Plant Growers, destroying at least a dozen cars that were parked inside one of the sheds. AtMona Vale Road, Ingleside, Sydney, Australia. Photo: Alec Smart

While forensics were on scene when we were present today, NSW Police have confirmed with us that the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
