Future Community Garden in Dee Why?

This Saturday: 31st May 12pm -2pm, come along to a BBQ gathering at Oaks Avenue Reserve to chat about creating a community garden. All are welcome.

Permaculture Northern Beaches (PNB) and Northern Beaches Councillor, Kristyn Glanville are exploring whether people of Dee Why are interested in creating a Community Garden within Oaks Avenue Reserve. Given many people don’t have a yard of their own, this small council-owned Reserve presents a possible opportunity for a Community Garden.

If the community is enthusiastic about a garden and a group of interested volunteers is formed, we can explore next steps of seeking formal approval from Council.
