Davidson house fire: 30 firefighters on scene

9pm Friday Firefighters have confirmed a large two storey home at 13 Elphinstone Place at Davidson is fully alight with flames through the roof. It is visible from much of the the Northern Beaches.

The fire as viewed from people looking at the Christmas lights display on nearby Borgnis Street

A NSW Fire and Rescue spokesperson said there are six trucks and thirty firefighters on scene. The fire is so extensive they can not enter the building and will only be fighting externally to contain and ensure it is not impacting other properties.

While police have said it was thought no one was home at the time, we are advised two people have been treated by paramedics.

Rural Fire Service volunteers are also on scene.

We will provide updates as they become available.
