Emergency services attended a multi-vehicle collision on Wakehurst Parkway near Billarong Reserve at Narrabeen this afternoon, with one vehicle rolling during the impact.
NSW Ambulance assessed and treated four patients at the scene. Two lanes on the parkway were blocked while emergency crews worked to extract and assist the injured.
An 80-year-old male suffered chest and head injuries in one of the vehicles and was transported to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
In a second car, an 80-year-old male sustained chest injuries and was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 70-year-old female in the third vehicle sustained back and chest injuries and was transported to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition. Also in that vehicle, an 80-year-old male with back pain and a minor arm laceration was transported to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition.
Motorists experienced traffic delays while emergency services managed the scene.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation and a police statement is pending.
