Three teenage girls have been refused bail after an alleged assault and robbery on the Corso left another girl with facial injuries and a suspected broken finger.
Police attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were called to The Corso about 11pm on Saturday 11 July 2026, where they found a 16 year old girl with facial injuries, cuts, scratches, abrasions and a suspected broken finger.
She was taken to hospital for treatment as police began inquiries into the incident.
With help from members of the public, three girls, two aged 16 and one aged 18, were arrested at Dee Why and taken to Manly Police Station, where they were charged.
A 16 year old girl was charged with four offences: two counts of common assault, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and aggravated robbery.
A second 16 year old girl and an 18 year old woman were each charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and aggravated robbery.
All three have been refused bail. The two girls are due to appear in a children’s court today (Sunday 12 July 2026), while the woman is due to appear in Bail Division Local Court 7 today.
Police will allege the injured girl was assaulted by the three, who then assaulted a 30 year old man who allegedly witnessed the incident.
