Suspects at large after Curl Curl pursuit

Two men suspected of stealing a vehicle and fleeing from Police on Park Street Curl Curl this morning are still at large.

Just after 3am police patrolling Adams Street in Curl Curl spotted a blue Toyota sedan, understood to be stolen.

Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command followed the vehicle, which stopped on Park Street in Curl Curl.

As police approached the vehicle , the driver and passenger – two men believed to be aged in their 30s- ran from the scene.

Manly Observer was nearby and overheard yelling about dropping or handing over a bag and had thought the accused were apprehended- however as at the 3pm today police said they pair fled the scene and were not apprehended.

“A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident has commenced,” police said in a statement.

Police have asked anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
