Police op brings the big guns to Baly: drugs seized

A major police operation in Balgowlah  has led to the seizure of drugs, scales and several mobile phones, but no arrests, Manly Observer has learned this afternoon.

A local witness to the operation yesterday just before 5pm described her shock at spotting an armed police officer atop a heavily armoured vehicle (known as a BearCat). It was part of an operation in Balgowlah (Woodland Street and Balgowlah Road) led by the North Central Police Transport Command Proactive Team.

The team was assisted by the tactical operations unit. A police spokesperson confirmed that  police had “seized cocaine, cannabis, MDMA, digital scales and several mobile phones. No arrests were made.”
