Manly Saviours: Local subbies club has six junior teams in grand finals

Manly Savers rugby club was formed in 1909 and two years ago fielded junior teams for the first time.

On Sunday six of their teams will play in Sydney Rugby Union grand finals.

The U/13s, three teams of U/14s, the U/16s and Open Joint Venture (with Forest) will contest deciders at Nepean Rugby Park, Ryde Park and Forestville War Memorial Playing Field No 6.

How they did it is a fine story of community support and pride in a jumper.
