Man missing from Mona Vale Beach

A land and sea search for a missing man has been underway at Mona Vale all day.

Amir Etemadi, aged 28, was last seen on Mona Vale Beach, Mona Vale, about 11am yesterday (Tuesday 27 May 2025).

When he could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Amir is described as being of Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm tall, of thin build, with short brown hair and wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing a brown long sleeve shirt, a light blue vest, and black pants.

About 6am today (Wednesday 28 May 2025), a passerby located clothing and property that police believe belongs to Amir on Mona Vale Beach.

Amir is known to frequent Pymble and Northern Beaches areas.

A number of agencies, including Marine Rescue NSW, pictured main are involved in the search.
