A Frenchs Forest man has pleaded guilty to 16 charges of filming “privates without consent”, also known as upskirting, in Manly Court this week.
The local father, Principe Antonio, 55, has admitted to filming his victims at shopping centres between May and July last year.
He was initially arrested at the end of July 2024 following apprehension by a woman at Warriewood Square Kmart after she accused him of filming up her 12 year old daughter’s skirt using a camera mounted on his shoe. Her partner described the woman’s actions to Manly Observer as an “heroic citizen’s arrest.”
This led to police searching his home and arresting and charging him with producing child abuse material, as well as the numerous charges regarding filming without consent..
Mr Antonio yesterday, 19 March, entered a guilty plea at Manly Court over filming without consent but contests the child abuse material charge.
His strict conditional bail has been continued with all matters adjourned until 1 May.
