Local Boardriders to battle for Women’s Surftag crown at Dee Why

The third event of the 2022 SURFTAG Series will hit the waves at Dee Why Beach on Saturday, with North Narrabeen and Long Reef boardriding clubs among the favourites.

North Narrabeen won the women’s title last time the event was held in huge swells at South Curl Curl in 2019.

SURFTAG Series leader Long Reef – whose female numbers are booming – will be competing for the first time in Women’s SURFTAG.

Avalon and Queenscliff are other local competitors in the 16-team, tag-team surf competition.
