Cloudy start for Manly residents

Sydney Water has confirmed that many residents have been without water or had the appearance of their water affected by a burst water main on Pittwater Road in North Manly today, 7 June.

Sydney Water has been working on a burst water main on Pittwater Road, North Manly, since the early hours of 7 June, 2022.

Many residents reported to us that they were without water since 3am; those who have had their water restored report a milky appearance from their taps.

On this, Sydney Water has advised: “As water is restored to the area, water may appear white or milky – this is a result of air bubbles in the water.  It’s recommended customers let their taps run for a little longer than usual to clear this.”

Sydney Water has a 24 hour faults line available should you have further queries: 13 20 90
