A whooping 6,500 people laced up their runners and took to the Beach2Beach Fun Run on Sunday, 24 August 2025, raising over $300,000 for local charities and organisations.
“I congratulate everyone who contributed to what was easily the most successful Beach2Beach, one of the greatest community events on the Northern Beaches, if not Sydney,” said Phil Jackson who, with Ron Allars, has organised the Beach2Beach for over 30 years.
“The Beach2Beach team should be very proud of their achievement. The teamwork has been amazing.”
This year saw the addition of the half marathon, which saw an extra 2,000 entrants.
Mauricio Mendez from Mexico, who won the Mounties Group half marathon with a time of 1:09:27, described the course as “so beautiful”. He was closely followed by Jack Johnson, 1:10:34, and Lucus Au, 1:15:50.
As for the women, Natalea Smith took out the female half marathon with a time of 1:21:44, followed by Anna Heath, 1:26:31, and Jenny Wickham, 1:27:56.

The Mounties Group Half Marathon began in Dee Why, heading south along Curl Curl Beach before looping around The Harbord Diggers. The course then returned to Dee Why, followed the coastline until finishing at Newport Beach.

A presentation event will be held on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, when charities and groups will receive funds from the race.
Beach2Beach, formerly Pub2Pub, has been an annual Northern Beaches event since 1994.
