SYDNEY CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL – Manly Art Gallery & Museum
The Sydney Chamber Music Festival is returning with three shows to the Manly Art Gallery & Museum. This is your chance to hear some of the best Australian-based musicians playing fine classical music in a unique setting, including our very own Bilgola Plateau flautist Bridget Bolliger, the inspiration behind the boutique festival.
Four unique programs will be presented, including Footprint a poem by cardboard figures through movement and shadows; Cryptozoologica which takes young children on an interactive adventure encountering bizarre and wonderful animals through music and story; Acacia Quartet, a celebration of music by female composers; and Revival, a program of exquisite dance music from the English Renaissance to Spanish tango. Bridget, a renowned Australian-Swiss solo flautist and teacher will feature in all performances except for Footprint.
