Nature, ritual and the stars explored in new MAG&M exhibitions
A SHOWCASE OF ARTISTS’ CONNECTION TO NATURE, OUR FRACTURED WORLD & THE BEAUTY OF THE NIGHT SKY
Opening this month, the distinctive winter program brings together internationally recognised and celebrated Australian artists, offering a rich and immersive cultural experience in the heart of Manly.
The exhibitions will open with a free public launch event, with all welcome to attend.
The exhibitions include:
- Tamara Dean: Leave only footprints – a powerful photographic and moving image exhibition by one of Australia’s most respected photo media artists, examining themes of ritual, transformation and our relationship with the natural environment.
- Min Wong: You shall definitely pass – a compelling presentation of work by artist Min Wong, developed during the artist’s residency in Athens and studies in Berlin, unfolding in 2 iterations.
- CEAD Collection Stories: Night Sky – a curated selection of works from the MAG&M Collection, celebrating nocturnal landscapes, celestial themes and the enduring allure of the stars.
