Little Lifts: Comedy night
LAUGH LOUD, LIFT LIVES: COMEDY NIGHT TO SUPPORT LOCAL FAMILIES AFFECTED BY CANCER
The Northern Beaches Community Cancer Charity (NBCCC) is calling on locals to get behind a great cause — and have a great laugh doing it — at Comedy for a Cause Night.
All proceeds from the event will support NBCCC’s new Little Lifts pilot program, which provides practical, hands-on help for local families during cancer treatment. From meal deliveries and garden care to small acts of everyday kindness, Little Lifts is designed to ease the load when life feels hardest.
“When you’re going through treatment, it’s often the little things that matter most,” said NBCCC Chairman, Bonita Mersiades.
The night promises an outstanding line-up of comedians straight from the Sydney and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, including:
- Simon Kennedy – one of Australia’s most versatile comedians, known for his clever, relatable humour and pitch-perfect impressions.
- Tommy Dean (USA) – a favourite on Thank God It’s Friday with his sharp wit and unique charm.
- Davey Williams – described by Rip It Up as “Best Live Stand-up Working – Accept No Substitutes.”
- Michael Cho – one of the country’s brightest rising comedy talents.
The event is part of the popular Comedy for a Cause national series, which pairs world-class comedy with community fundraising.
