Ivanhoe Park Botanic Garden Spring Festival
THE FRIENDS OF IVANHOE PARK BOTANIC GARDENS ARE CELEBRATING SPRING!
There will be:
- Guided and self-guided tours of the Garden
- Plant Sales – for balconies or gardens
- CWA Devonshire Teas served in the Scout Hall
- BBQ Snags in Buns, with or without onions, and drinks
- Local musicians, The Green House, playing throughout the day
- Lots of kids activities – a treasure hunt, pot-a-plant, playtime and face painting by Kolala
- Cool market and educational stalls – Summer Candles Co and Curly Honey, Community Bank Freshwater, Bushland & Biodiversity from NBC, and Manly Beach Probus
- A Q&A session with our Guest Garden Ambassador, Paul Nicholson, Manager of Volunteer Programs, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
- Opening greetings from Mayor Sue Heins
- Two ½ hour free yoga classes with Emily Rose of Padme Hum – bring your own mat or towel
- Great raffle with prizes – Harbord Diggers Gift Certificates and Two Naked Wines 6-packs
This promises to be a fun day for everyone, and will take place in and around the Central Lawn starting at 10:00 a.m. until 2 p.m.
