A COMMUNITY FESTIVAL RAISING MONEY FOR SURFERS FOR CLIMATE
7th Day Brewery is throwing a party that may just go down in Northern Beaches’ folklore – A GOOD DAY OUT — our inaugural pre-summer festival of beers, bands, community, and climate action, right in the concrete jungle of Brookvale.
From midday till late, 7th Day’s HQ and carpark surrounds will become a multi-sensory playground of huge local Beaches’ bands, extravagant collabs, huge energy and feel-good vibes – with a mission to raise $20,000 for environment lords Surfers for Climate.
Live music lineup:
Headlined by The Good Kids – Beaches’ lords, crowd surf extraordinaires & proud community activists – the festival features an iconic lineup of local bands, including: Ghazza – Google the song “Dirodi”, The Darrans, Scoot the Loot, The Buddz, Plus a host of local DJs.
Expect massive energy, unmatched vibrancy, incredible local talent & just an all day, festival like feeling in your belly for a damn good cause! & guess what? We’ll have surf MC legend Jed Smith (Ain’t That Swell Podcast) on the mic all day & night keep the vibes at all-time highs!
GOOD DAY OUT’s central ethos is to build awareness and raise much needed funds for Surfers for Climate, a charity driving climate action within the surfing community. The goal? Raise $20,000 through donations, raffles and onsite fundraising.
How are we going to raise $20k?
- Raffles! A trip to Secret Sumatra, Indonesia’s ultimate surf retreat, A Channel Islands Surfboard thanks to Onboard Store & A brand-new skateboard from Boarders Skate Shop
- Live Flash Tattoo Parlour – three designs to choose! Warning, they won’t come off!
- Mullet Haircuts on stage! That’s right! Donate your haircut fee of $10 & come up on stage & party in the back, business in the front!
- Jumping Castle – You’re kidding, right?! $5 for five minutes on rotation as you bounce around to your favourite bands & DJs
- Festival Print Press T-shirts, Hats & Bandanas – hosted by Boarders Skate Shop
- Gravey Lane Fashion Pop Up – check them out they are going to be huge!
- Crowd Surfers Welcome – 7th Day Brewery will donate $5 for every, single crowd surfer on the day
- Pizza by Sale Pepe & Beers by us, 7th Day Brewery! – sure, we’ll donate some too!
Entry is free, the pizza’s hot, the beer’s cold, and the energy’s guaranteed to be “Brookvale big.”
