Express Yourself – Winners Announced
Visit the Manly Art Gallery & Museum to see how talented our HSC Visual Arts students are at the annual Express Yourself exhibition featuring artworks selected from the 20 secondary schools across Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
The exhibition celebrates the extraordinary talent of young emerging artists from our local creative community and features a broad range of expressive artforms including painting, printmaking, ceramics, documented forms, drawing, graphic design, photomedia, sculpture, textiles and fibre, collection of works, and time-based forms.
There were 18 eligible students who applied for the $5,000 Theo Batten Youth Art Award – awarded to a student continuing tertiary study in the arts or a related field. While the Manly Art Gallery & Museum Society Youth Art Award will share in $3,000 prize money.

The third award – the KALOF People’s Choice Award will be announced at the end of the exhibition period with visitors encouraged to vote for their favourite work.
