Ceramics Artists Open Studios
Over this weekend, ceramic artists and studios nationwide will open their doors for the annual Australian Ceramics Open Studios (ACOS) event. Potters, ceramic artists, and sculptors share their love of clay through demonstrations, conversation and work for sale.
There will be workshops, demonstrations, kiln firings, and original ceramics to purchase, from studios in the suburbs, cities, and rambling rural settings (check individual listings). Take some time to connect with like-minded people who value the handmade and the well-being it brings.
Camille Ducret (pictured), a ceramic artist based in Avalon Beach is one of the participating artists and will be opening her studio, with new ceramic work and experiments to explore, and an interactive activity where visitors can contribute to a collaborative clay piece.
