Art for Gaza Exhibition
Art for Gaza exhibition returns to Sydney’s Northern Beaches this October with a major showcase of works by more than 60 leading Australian and emerging artists.
Taking place across the weekend of 24–25 October 2026 at The Annexe, Dunbar Park, Avalon, the exhibition and benefit art sale directs 100% of proceeds toward critical medical relief in Gaza via Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)and Palestinian Australian, New Zealand medical association (PANZMA).
The collection features donated paintings, sculptures, fine-art photography and ceramics from celebrated contemporary artists, including Archibald Prize winner Wendy Sharpe, renowned installation artist Janet Laurence, alongside Helen Leete, Cybele Cox, Jacob Pendrana, Pamela Pauline, Cameron Bloom, and Sally Mayman.
The official opening will take place on Saturday 24 October at 4:00 PM, featuring addresses from local Federal Member for Mackellar Dr Sophie Scamps MP, Neurosurgeon Dr Ruth Mitchell, who been working in Gaza and University of Sydney Associate Professor Dr Dalia Nassar. Live classical accompaniment will be performed by musicians Ziva Altman and Bethan Lillicrap.
