Head to Taronga Zoo and get up close and personal with Pedro, Guillermo, Sanchez, Carlos and Rodney, five loveable and charismatic Capybara brothers, the world’s largest rodent and semi aquatic species
Did you know Capybaras can dive and stay underwater for up to five minutes at a time, or that although they can weigh up to 70kg, they can clock up to 35km/hr speeds? Bet you didn’t know they are coprophagic, which means they eat their own poo! Hear these fun facts and more from expert keepers while feeding them some of their favourite snacks.

- Tickets are $59.95 per person and available from 9am on the day of the encounter from the Top Plaza Shop Ref 7L. Zoo entry is an additional cost.
- To avoid disappointment, please arrive early to secure your ticket. (Smaller groups may be paired with another person or group).
- For the encounter you must wear flat closed-toed shoes and be able to walk and climb stairs independently.
