Opera Choruses Concert with Manly Warringah Choir
Join joyous singing to warm your hearts on a Sunday afternoon in winter, and keep you cozy in The Waterford Hall of St Paul’s College, Manly.
Manly Warringah Choir is presenting their second concert in this new venue. The performance of Brahms German Requiem there in May was a huge success: choristers and patrons alike are looking forward to this next concert “Opera Choruses”. We are very excited to have Natasha Gesto with her glorious soprano voice join us again. Raphael Hudson is a very talented and experienced baritone/tenor and we are really looking forward to him performing with us. (photos of each are attached). As usual, the charismatic and inimitable Dr Carlos Avarado will be conducting choir, orchestra and soloists.
Think about those wonderful operatic solos and duets, together with choruses from operas by famous composers such as Verdi, Puccini, and Bizet (including Habanera from Carmen). There will also be a medley of songs from the very popular Les Miserables.
Come and join them! Enjoy refreshments after the performance. These concerts are a wonderful opportunity for catching up with old friends and new.
