Learn how to keep chickens and help the environment with Paul Cannings and his brood of happy hens. Paul is an urban ecologist, agriculture teacher and permaculture designer who has more than a decade experience teaching the art of chicken therapy and husbandry. Chickens love your food waste, give you free, fresh free-range eggs while making great pets for your kids.

This free workshop at the Coastal Environment Centre covers a lot of information on the care of chickens and the coop. Spaces are limited and bookings, limited to two, are essential to reserve your spot. It is recommended that children be 10 years and above.
