An American In Paris – the musical

American in Paris is a smash-hit musical based on the the 1951 film with the magic of song and dance successfully translating to stage more than half a century later, and 21^st century technology providing sets which will impress old and new generations.

Set in Paris after the 1945 liberation, American GI Jerry Mulligan (Robbie Fairchild), fellow veteran and pianist Adam Hochberg (Jonathan Hickey) and local Henri Baurel (Sam Ward) vie for the heart of dancer Lise Dassin (Leanne Cope), leaving you wondering who will actually get the girl. After all, they’re all deserving fellas.

You also have the Gershwin effect, with fabulous songs including I got Rhythm, I’ll Build a Stairway to Paradise, ‘S Wonderful and the Man I love.
