Artemus Group continues to expand its reign at Manly Wharf, most recently with a Development Application (DA) to upgrade the central retail arcade.
All tenancies will come under the Group which will focus on fresh food and artisanal produce.
“We’re proud of the progress so far, including new hospitality offerings that have added to its vibrancy. The next stage involves considered upgrades to retail and public areas to improve comfort, functionality and the overall visitor experience,” Artemus founder, Adam Flaskas, said.

“This forms part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring Manly Wharf remains a welcoming and well-presented destination for residents and visitors.”
As part of the DA, trading hours for the artisanal food hall (artist’s impression below), if approved, will be 6am to 1am, seven days a week. Other refurbishments will include a new skylight above the arcade, glass sliding entrance doors for weather protection, upgraded lighting and signage, and improved ferry passenger waiting areas with additional seating.
“Our long-term vision for Manly Wharf is to see it continue evolving in a way that reflects its importance to the local community and its place as one of Sydney’s iconic waterfront destinations,” Mr Flaskas explained.

“As custodians, we remain focused on enhancing amenity while respecting the Wharf’s history and character.”
Artemus Group acquired the lease for Manly Wharf and the Wharf Bar for $110 million in 2023. Artemus has since renovated the Wharf Bar into a family-friendly playground-including Felons, converted Aldi into a microbrewery, acquired Hugos, converted the Bavarian restaurant into Felons Seafood, and installed glass balustrade fencing and outdoor fixed seating and tables to the wharf.
