SHAKESPEARE WITH A TWIST – WAVERTON

A troupe of actors touring Australia is presenting Shakespeare’s Rome & Juliet and Macbeth in a very unique way which challenges the status quo and gives a fresh voice to these fabulous ageless stories.

Come you Spirits will be performed in the unique space of the Coal Loader, with actors leading you through the tunnel and various levels and inside chambers for more intimate moments. Each performance is 90 minutes long with the audience split into four groups guided by either Romeo, Juliet, The Nurse, or The Friar for Romeo & Juliet, or by  Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Macduff or The Witch for Macbeth offering a rare point of view via a streamlined narrative
