NAIDOC Week Event at Narraweena Public School
Celebrate this year’s NAIDOC Week theme ‘For Our Elders’ on the Northern Beaches with Aboriginal owned business Bush to Bowl.
Event Schedule
- 10:00 – 10:30am: Event Opening with Smoking Ceremony, dance performance and bushtucker tasters
- 10:30am – 12:30pm: Workshops
- 12:30 – 1:00pm: Closing musical performance
Workshop Details
Bushtucker Workshop: Gain an introduction to bushtucker and learn about Aboriginal people’s connection to food and Country.
Dance Workshop: A hands on workshop to experience Aboriginal dance and stories.
Each workshop will be running consecutively at the following times:
- 10:30-11:00am
- 11:15-11:45am
- 12:00-12:30pm.
Open to all ages. Free drop-in event .
Bookings required for workshops.
