Manly Talks: Connecting with Teens

Manly Talks is an initiative of Good for Manly that involves quarterly public forums to engage and inspire the local community. This July, we welcome guest speaker Georgie Furze, who will help us bridge those pesky intergenerational gaps.
Georgie is a keynote speaker, teen mentor, and parent coach and was honoured as Manly’s Local Woman of the Year (2024).
She specialises in fostering genuine connections and guiding individuals through transformative experiences. Her approach empowers people to overcome challenges, strengthen relationships, and break free from limiting beliefs.
As the founder of Get Real With Georgie, she has supported over 1,000 teenage girls and families, helping young people build confidence, develop emotional intelligence, and create healthy habits. Unlike clinical approaches, her work offers tailored support and real-time guidance, equipping teens with the tools to navigate life’s challenges with resilience.
Through mentoring, school programs, and impactful keynote talks, Georgie is deeply committed to improving youth mental well-being because now, more than ever, young people and their families need connection, self-belief, and the tools to thrive.
