Her Wave International Women’s Day – Hotel Steyne
In line with International Women’s Day, Her Wave is heading to The Hotel Steyne to host an epic evening of fun, celebrating everything that women are. This event, much like the Her Wave Teams Classic surf events aims to bring together women of all ages to increase participation in surfing, highlight the incredible work that is being done in the surf industry and connect likeminded women.
When: Wednesday, 8th March, 6pm-9pm
Where: Rooftop, Hotel Steyne
What: Starting off with a delicious drink on arrival, enjoy the live DJ set from Manly local DJ SA.MMY. At 7pm Her Wave will host a ‘business of surfing’ panel discussion with women that work within the surf industry. From sustainable fashion to finding a career path in surfing, the panel will discuss all things surfing and women in business. Artisan market stalls will also be set up, where you can mingle with the business owners and purchase something cute. Finally, grab another drink from the bar and prepare yourself for a lavish Burlesque show that is sure to get everyone off their seats and dancing the night away.
