Get Ready Day 2023 at Dee Why Bowling Club
This year, the Beacon Hill Rural Fire Brigade will be holding their Get Ready Day – a state-wide initiative of the Rural Fire Service to help communities prepare for the bush fire season at the Dee Why Bowling Club at 223 Fisher Road North.
SUNDAY 24th SEPTEMBER 2023 AT 10 AM
The Club are putting on a fundraising barbecue and live music for Get Ready Day 2023 and the Beacon Hill Rural Fire Brigade will be there with one of their fire trucks for kids young and old to tour, as well as hosing down witches’ hats and bowling a fire hose. Enjoy a BBQ, food stalls, an outdoor bar, live music and an animal farm!
As well as providing some fun the Beacon Hill Rural Fire Brigade are aiming to ensure families are prepared for the impact of the coming fire season – which is expected to be fierce unfortunately.
