This October, our vibrant village will transform into an open-air gallery with the launch of the very first Barrenjoey Artwalk—an event dedicated to showcasing the incredible talent of local artists while supporting our community’s high school.
For two weeks – 19 Oct – 3 Nov 2024 – retailers & businesses across Avalon will display stunning artworks in their shop windows, marked by a bright yellow dot so you won’t miss a thing! Each piece will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds directly benefiting our local high school. It’s an amazing opportunity to support local art, local businesses, and our students all at once.

Barrenjoey Artwalk Opening Night
Join us for an unforgettable evening as we kick off the Barrenjoey Artwalk on Saturday, 19th October! The festivities begin at 5:30 PM with a launch event at Awaken in Avalon. Enjoy a drink while mingling with fellow art lovers, then stroll through Avalon village as a group from 6:30pm, taking in the stunning works of our talented local artists displayed in the charming shopfronts. This is a perfect opportunity to celebrate creativity and community in the heart of Avalon—don’t miss out!
