Movies at Manly
Treat yourself to a feast of cinematic classics when Movies of Manly screens a wondrous array of iconic movies spanning eight decades at St Matthews church. Ranging from the silent era, Charlie Chaplin Shorts, through to sound, including National Velvet, Driving Miss Daisy and Westside Story, Movies of Manly offers entertainment for all ages, the children in particular will marvel at movies made more than a century ago to just the accompaniment of live music.
The festival is presented in conjunction with Northern Beaches Council over four consecutive Saturdays, July 23 and 30, August 06 and 13, offering three different sessions at 11.30 am, 2 pm and 4.30 pm. Tickets range from $15 to $25.

- 2 pm – Charlie Chaplin Shorts with live music (Mauro Colombis)
- 4.30 pm – Swing Time (1936) with soundtrack and introduced by Anne Stephenson and Jenny Brosnan, authors of See You At Randell’s, which celebrates the story of an iconic ballroom dancing studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
