Anzac Day 2024 at Avalon Beach RSL Club
Our yearly tribute honours the courage of the original Anzacs and all individuals who have served in various wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping efforts. Two services will be held at the cenotaph in Dunbar Park plus several events though the day. All are welcome.
- 5:45am: Dawn Service at the Cenotaph in Dunbar Park
- 6:00am – 8:00am: Avalon Beach RSL Club is open for light refreshments following the Dawn Service. The Avalon Beach RSL Fishing Club will be serving bacon & egg rolls for a small donation.
- 8:00am – 10:00am: Avalon Beach RSL Club is closed for trade.
- 11:00am: ANZAC March commences. The march is though Avalon village and concludes at the Cenotaph in Dunbar Park.
- 11:30am: Commemoration Service in Dunbar Park
- 1pm: Two-Up commences in teh Surf Lounge at Avalon Beach RSL Club. 18+ Only.
